Washing instructions

  • Most styles are washable on a gentle 40 degrees cycle
  • All washing instructions are clearly labelled in the garment
  • Dress hoops and boned wings are removable for washing purposes
  • All accessory items are sponge clean only
  • The Faux Fur Shrug, Frilly Milly, Frothy Tutu skirt, Red Admiral Butterfly and Viking are Hand Wash only.

Packaging and Testing
  • Most styles are presented on a cream Dress Up By Design hanger or a Dress Up By Design hanger card. Limited Edition styles and Ballgowns are presented on padded hangers.
  • All styles are delivered in a Dress Up By Design poly bag.
  • All dressing up costumes adhere to the new Toy Directives and are tested to and referenced to stringent European standards EN71 to achieve the recognized Toy CE mark. 
  • The Glitter Party Shoes are a functional product and therefore are not tested as a toy.
  • Baby styles are tested to EN71, part 3 for toxicity
